Mary Leighton

Founder, CEO, OTR/L, OT Team Leader

Mary Leighton is the founder of this wonderful organization and is also an Occupational Therapist. Her hobbies include horseback riding, biking, hiking, and enjoy the beach, house. She loves the change of seasons and enjoys spending time with her partner in life Sean, and their families and friends, which includes this wonderfully special Camp No Limits Family! Currently, one of her favorite things to do is watching my her "Baby Ben" explore everyday life adventures and see his excitement as everything is all new! A fun fact about Mary is she has two houses (one in Maine and one in Florida). She has enjoyed house flipping, too, and the house in Florida was supposed to be a "flip", however she loves St. Petersburg so much, she kept the house and stays in Florida as much they can! Fun fact #2, she met Tom Brady and his family in person twice and is pretty sure Tom Brady followed her to Tampa Bay!!! Go Tampa Bay Pats!

Bella is a quadruple amputee and has been attending camp for about 7 years now.  When she was 8 years old she got sick from streptococcus pneumonia which caused her amputations. She is now a freshman at UMass Boston studying nursing. Bella enjoys painting, arts and crafts, dancing.  She has a painting page where she posts pictures of her art and sells it to raise money for camp

In the summer of 2018  Sarah volunteered at her first camp in Connecticut and fell in love with the camp and its mission. She is a High School Math teacher in Long Island, New York and has been teaching algebra and geometry for 16 years.

Justine Clifton

Mentor

Justine has been volunteering for Camp No Limits since 2015, and has been a volunteer and mentor in multiple locations. She first heard about camp right before she started school for orthotics and prosthetics and instantly wanted to get involved. Justine was born with PFFD and is an above knee amputee.  She has upper limb differences as well. Growing up Justine always wished there was a program like this where she could go and know that she was not alone. She hopes to help and inspire younger campers to accomplish whatever they set their minds to do. She also enjoys crafting, sewing, adaptive sports, going to the beach, spending time with her friends and family.  She loves to try new things and meet new people.

Lizzie Ridder

Mentor

Lizzie is so stoked you’re here at “virtual” Camp.  She has been a part of Camp No Limits since 2005 and each of her camp experiences has created something incredible. Lizzie started coming when she was just nine years old and has learned so much over the past 15 years that she couldn’t imagine not giving back to an organization that has given so much to her.  Camp No Limits is home, welcome to the family!
