Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access the sessions?

You can access any of the sessions by clicking on the “Virtual Camps" or "Register" in the top menu bar of the home page. On the home page you can also click the picture for Virtual Connections. You have to register for sessions. Click Here if it is your first time registering for instructions.

From there, select the session you would like to attend. Click on any session title and access the “Enter Session” button.  Simply click on the Enter Session towards the right. You will be able to access 10 minutes in advance of the start time each day.

Will I be able to view the recorded archive of these virtual sessions?

Some of the virtual sessions are being recorded and all registrants will have access to them. Sessions will be posted the day after the live session takes place. The process will be similar to how you login for the live programs, but you will be able to view at your convenience.

I am having trouble with streaming audio, I can’t hear the speaker through my computer speakers, the streaming stopped… what do I do?

If you are not able to hear any audio through your computer speakers first check to make sure your speakers are not muted or turned off.

The next step is to refresh your screen by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard or clicking the “refresh” button in your web browser.

Will the virtual camps be replacing the physical camps?

No! We have created this experience as a way to stay connected and continue our mission of education, empowering and supporting families in this community. We aim to keep the community connected and want to provide a positive experience during this pandemic. Please keep in mind for this experience, this is new programming, so there may be some technical glitches. We are open to constructive comments as we work to make this experience the best that we can, for all of our camp families and volunteers.
